The first official Chicago Film Cruise will make its world premiere on October 21st & 22nd, 2017 at Chicago Line Cruises in Chicago, highlighting the location of Chicago’s most famous films. The all-new cruise, which will offer film fans a firsthand look into Chicago’s film history while at the same time providing the opportunity to learn about new film productions set in Chicago in 2017 and beyond.
“The Chicago Film Cruise truly embodies the spirit of Chicago’s association with feature films and the entertainment industry,” said Margi Johnson, a former film Production Manager and now principal of Chicago Line Cruises. "Chicago really has an epic film history and the future is brighter than ever with dozens of projects shooting in Chicago every year.  As a proud sponsor of The Chicago International Film Festival, we wanted to launch the cruise in conjunction with the festival which continues thru Oct 26th.”The 60 minute immersive tour will feature settings seen in major feature films including Chris Nolans’s Batman films, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and The Blues Brothers. 

Guests will enjoy free refreshments and film related music as the tour takes them from the early films of Charlie Chaplin to some of their favorite locations seen in The Fugitive and Transformers.
