The latest  Star Wars movie, “The Force Awakens“, opening today, will no doubt feature battles between the well known heroes and the “Dark side”.

George Lucas, the creator of Star Wars, has selected Chicago as home of his new Lucas Museum of Narrative Art.  Seventeen acres, along the city’s lakefront, and owned by Chicago Park District, have been selected for the site of this Museum.  This selection has stirred up some Star Wars like battles between the supporters of the Museum and the nonprofit group Friends of the Parks looking to preserve the park land in Chicago.  You might say they are on the “Park side”.
