WELCOME BACK TO THE 2020 SAILING SEASON!

TO:  CHICAGO TOURISM PARTNERS, PASSENGERS AND GUESTS

DATE:  MONDAY, JUNE 29, 2020

I hope these lines find you and your families healthy and well.

Over the last 3 months, we have all learned a lot about COVID-19, social distancing and most importantly, the ability to be resilient and safe.

As we begin to emerge from the current crisis, the safety, health and wellbeing of our passengers, crew and employees remains our highest priority.

We are committed to providing an exceptional cruise experience, which includes increased health and hygiene measures that go beyond required protocols.

Therefore, we have added a full-time safety crew member to all cruises who is dedicated to ensuring that all COVID-19 guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the City of Chicago are maintained onboard our vessels and in our boarding areas.

We are also asking all passengers to board our boats with protective masks and use them when they travel about the vessel or find themselves in a group of 10 or more.

In addition, hand sanitizing stations have been added on all decks, protective shields installed in the bar areas and seating has been adjusted to allow for social distancing.

All captains, crew and employees will be temperature-checked daily and are required to wear masks and personal protective equipment (PPE).

Commencing July 1 – Private Cruises Available:  Summer is an exceptional time to be in Chicago and to experience all our City has to offer. Cruising on Lake Michigan and the Chicago River is a fun and unique way to reconnect with family and friends. So, beginning July 1, we are happy to welcome groups up to 100 passengers on board for private cruises and look forward to making your next event memorable.

Commencing August 1 – Chicago Architecture and Historical Cruises:  If COVID-19-related health statistics in Chicago and the greater Chicago area continue to improve during the month of July, it is our present plan to begin offering Chicago Architectural Cruises and Chicago History Cruises to the public on August 1.

We realize that new protocols and guidelines can change, so we thank our guests for their patience and understanding as we navigate through these challenging times.

We are proud to showcase Chicago and its architecture by boat — what a stunning view.

We look forward to Sailing with you!

Best,

Terry Johnson
